Jonah Crab Lemon Garlic Chili Pasta

Ingredients:
- 250g pasta (approx. half a box)
- 2 cup picked Jonah crab meat
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Zest & juice of 1 lemon
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp fennel seeds
- 2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Splash of white wine
- 1/4 cup cream
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup pasta water
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- Prepare Crab Mixture: In a large pan, add olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic, fennel seeds, and red pepper flakes. Sauté until fragrant. Next, pour in a splash of white wine and let it simmer for a minute.
- Add Lemon and Jonah Crab: Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and picked Jonah crab meat. Cook for a few minutes.
- Creamy Blend: Add chopped parsley, butter, and cream to the pan. Reduce heat and let simmer.
- Combine Pasta and Crab Mixture: Toss the cooked pasta into the pan, ensuring it’s evenly coated with the flavorful sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
